Thank you for your purchase of FastLynx. Technical support is available from the developer via Internet e-mail at support@sewelld.com. To install the software, simply create a directory for it and copy all of the files into that directory. To transfer files, plug a serial or parallel cable into the ports you want to use on each machine, and then run "fx.exe" on both machines. When you see the FastLynx Main Menu on both machines, then select the "Split Screen Mode" option on one of the computers. You should see a message indicating a connection and a directory listing from the remote machine appearing on the right side of the split screen. Use the F1 key for context-sensitive help. You might also want to read through the on-line reference guide. A device driver which provides for disk and printer sharing is also included. We do NOT recommend that you use it unless you are fairly technically skilled. To use it, run "fxsvr" on the machine whose drivers or printers you want to make available. Put a "device=fxlink.exe" in the CONFIG.SYS file on the machine where you want to access those resources from. The fxsvr and fxlink utilities are very similar to the "intersvr" and "interlnk" utilities included in DOS 6. In general, the documentation for those utilities applies also to "fxsvr" and "fxlink".
